The LG Thrill 4G has been available for just a little while and Amazon has already got a good deal on it waiting for you. They’re willing to part ways with the device for $30 as long as you sign a new two-year contract. Both new and existing users can get in on this for both individual accounts and new users can get the deal for family accounts.
For an existing user on a family count AT&T’s asking for $70 but that’s still quite the steal for a dual-core 3D phone. Amazon has also posted a similar deal for the very solid HTC Inspire 4G. Check them out here and here and see if you can’t walk away happy.
If this thing does not fly off the shelves at these low ass prices then it just goes to show that 3D is not that hot.
3D is a gimmick nothing more… no one needs it, and from what I have seen: wants it.
Its a gimmick because you iPhone users don’t have it. if apple had this offering you’d be here singing praises about how innovative they are and how everyone else will copy.
I have this terrible habit of buying devices on launch day. 2 iPhone 4’s, Samsung Galaxy Tab and now the LG Thrill.
I loaded up Avatar 3D on the Thrill and while the 3D hurts the hell outta my eyes, it DOES work exactly has advertised and looked amazing.
Strangely, I watched the video WITH 3D glasses on and I was able to watch it without getting a migraine.

I am happy that Android was able to release a 3D phone first but I still feel 3D is a Gimmick.
Almost all of the movies are now being released in 3D and only a few have shown real 3D chops. The technology is nice but is not needed at this time. It’s being thrown around into everything to sell more tickets and items.
Look at the sales numbers of 3D items and you will see that although this is a nice feature, it’s not something people feel they have to have.

I would be an idiot to ever pay full retail prices at places like Walmart or Bestbuy. I sold a 37″ HDTV to my boss for $600 that I only paid $78.24 for. I use http://bit.ly/grab1004
The Thrill is much easier on the eyes. Went to the mall this morning and showed a sprint rep. Confirmed…..”The 3D is better on the eyes”.
The Thrill is duelcore so even if you dont want 3d, its worth 30$ for duelcore
