Best Buy has issued a press release confirming the company will indeed begin stocking a white variant of the HTC Droid Incredible 2 for Verizon. Just as rumors indicated yesterday, the new paint job will make its debut this Sunday, August 21st, with the whitewashed DInc2 going for $149.99 after contract. White DROID Incredible 2 by HTC on Verizon Wireless Network Lands Exclusively at Best Buy on Aug. 21
MINNEAPOLIS, August 18, 2011 – More exclusives are coming to Best Buy and Best Buy Mobile specialty stores, this time with the white version of the DROID Incredible 2 by HTC on the Verizon Wireless network. The smartphone launches nationwide in Best Buy and Best Buy Mobile specialty stores and online at BestBuy.com/Mobile on Sunday, Aug. 21.
Similar to the original DROID Incredible 2 that launched in April, the white version features the Android 2.2 operating system, 4″ WVGA touch screen, 8.0MP digital camera and 1.3MP front-facing camera and Mobile Hotspot capability. It retails for $149.99 with new, two-year activation.
