New Shot of the Sony Ericsson Xperia Duo Leaks

11

A leaked render is giving us our clearest view of the upcoming Sony Ericsson Xperia Duo to date, and though the handset gets some major style points rumors of a 1.4GHz dual-core processor make the phone appealing in more than just the looks category. The leaked press shot comes along with word that the handset might feature the NovaThor A9500 chipset combining two A9 cores with Mali-400 graphics, a similar processor setup to the Samsung Galaxy S II. There is also a chance the phone will rock Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon design.

A 4.5-inch qHD display powered by the Bravia engine, a 12MP camera, and 2500mAh battery round out the rumored specs for this Android Gingerbread smartphone. Each generation of Sony Ericsson Android handsets seems only to get better and better, so it should come as no surprise that the upcoming Xperia Duo has our palms sweaty with anticipation.

  2. If only real specs could be like the rumors :/ haha. That would be a badass phone.

  3. I’m glad to see more and more mini tablet-phones like this. Will be a serious competition between this and the Hercules.

  4. If these specs are true, this phone gonna rock

  5. if these specs are exact (which I highly doubt), then I cant imagine how sick it would be if SE are next in line for the nexus line of phones.. one can only hope though :)

  6. 4,5 Qhd ! 12mega pixel , double core 1,4 android 2,3 this sound like a dream but when SE ?

  7. Is there a front facing camera? Hopefully they make it at least 5 megapixels and with a dual-LED flash for the 12 megapixel camera (VGA?) HD video or capable of 1080p recording. If this phone is what it seems, I’m dropping my Motorola ATRIX.

  8. Can’t wait to see what they will do whit Ics
