Acer to Follow ASUS with Slider Tablet?

DigiTimes is reporting that they’ve heard it from industry suppliers that Acer is getting ready to conjure up a new 10.1 inch beaut. It’ll apparently be like ASUS’ Eee Pad Slider tablet which can slide up to reveal a keyboard, effectively turning it into a notebook. It’s noted that Acer’s slimmed down on traditional netbook production. This is likely due to an industry trend of people spending more time on their phones and tablets than they do on netbooks and notebooks. If it all pans out, expect to see this one sometime this fall.
