I always love a good mystery. This one comes courtesy of Pocketnow who received this picture of a mysterious Motorola device. What’s interesting is there are none of the typical Motorola stylings like physical buttons. Just by looking at it, I can tell you the device is exactly 4.3-inches (I have special eyes) and the corners of the device actually remind me a lot of the recently announced Motorola Photon 4G for Sprint.
But what do you guys think? Can you help solve this mystery (or at least add to the speculation)?

Leaked ICS device?
I don’t think it’s the Photon. The corners on the bottom aren’t accentuated enough to be the photon. Also, is it me or does this not have physical or capacitive buttons? o_O

Droid bionic?
Physical buttons look like they are photoshop’d or a piece of tap over them. Magic eyes and all.
Yeah, I see exactly what your saying. The lower part of the phone has been photoshoped so that it covering something up. Most likely buttons.

Why do people think this is Ice Cream Sandwich, hopeful wishing?
Gingerbread came out last December and devices finally started coming out with it 5 months later.
This “could” be the first phone to run ICS. There was an article about speculation that there would be a non-Nexus branded phone to debut newest version of android (similar to Droid w/ 2.0 and Xoom w/ 3.0)
according to the site comparing the droid bionic and the sgs2 it said the bionic would launch with ICS. That would be awesome if the bionic did launch with ICS.
Definately the final revision of the bionic which will be release on July 7th…. the day I have my upgrade

perhaps the next nexus? maybe it’s buttonless because the other leaked nexus picture had no buttons too because android 4.0 mixes Honeycomb and Gingerbread. i hope THIS prototype makes it though :)
Bionic revision 3? Too bad, I want a galaxy s II now!
people say they think it’s a slider, but that line on the bottom of the phone, it only goes up so far, like it’s a clamshell.
