HTC ChaCha and Salsa Final Software Builds Leak

5

The HTC ChaCha and Salsa — those unique new Android handsets sporting a physical Facebook button for one touch access to the social networking giant — are poised for launch at the end of June, but a leak of the final software build for each handset is giving us an early look at what we can expect. Our first look at the two phones was hardware-only; HTC had not approved a software build ready for public viewing. It looks like the Android 2.3.3 ChaCha and Salsa will get a fairly original take on the HTC Sense software overlay (most noticeable on the ChaCha).

If you want an early look at the Facebook-laden software head over to the source link below to score the leaked builds.

  1.  Are those the actual phones look or is it a photoshop mock up?
Because the placement of the FB button is horrible!

  2. I’ll only buy it if it tattoos my friends FB statuses onto my body.

  3.  that FB button is so gay and a deal breaker

    1. +1

I couldn’t agree with you more.  The only physical button on any phone should be the camera button.  Everything else looks gimmicky and cheap…

  4. Relax haters, you can always remap the FB button to be any key you want, so you can easily make it a camera button or anything else.  The beauty of android AND qwerty.
