Whatever Samsung was planning on showing at their May 24th press event will have to wait. Word has just hit the inbox that the event is being postponed. Samsung did not provide a new date for the event but assures us that as soon as new details are squared away they will let us know.
Speculation is that the NYC unveiling will feature the new Galaxy Tab 10.1, which last made headlines as one of a few giveaway items at this year’s Google I/O. The limited edition white version of the Tab 10.1 has experienced a few minor issues, but nothing that doesn’t seem easily fixed via software tweaks. Don’t worry, we’ll still be there covering the news as it breaks, we just can’t say for sure when that will be. We’ll pass along new info as soon as we have it.
All I want to know is what is the price for the WiFi only version going to be.
Google it. They released pricing information a long time ago.
I’ve seen around that they might have changed the pricing. I mean they have also changed the tablet a little from what the original device was (unless the promo one at google i/o is different from public version) i.e. no microSD card, camera is 8mp not 3mp

16GB 10.1 tab = $499
Event also better give US release dates for Samsung GS2
I still think they need to make the price almost identical to Asus’ pricing so that each model is so closely priced that the buyer can easily decide if they want to jump up in screen size or memory.
I just want to know the release date for GS2 for verizon.
I guess Quentyn will have to cancel his travel plans.
Oh, come on! I hope this doesn’t mean the gtab 10.1 is delayed. If it is, I want a Transformer. But according to everything I’ve read, it’s almost impossible to find one. Please don’t make me buy an iPad 2!
