Don’t Miss This Deal: HTC Droid Incredible 2 Only $79.99 at Amazon

18

The HTC Droid Incredible 2 is only a week old, but that doesn’t mean you can’t get a killer deal on the Verizon handset. Amazon has cut the $199.99 price tag by over 50 percent, bringing the cost of the DInc 2 on a new two-year contract down to $79.99.

The Incredible 2 follows the incredibly popular Droid Incredible and does so with great poise and class. For its improvements, it does lack 4G LTE and dual-core processing. If that puts you on the fence, check out our full review of the device or hit up Android Forums to see what others are saying about the phone.

  1. i just checked this and it is showing $149.. ?

    1. sorry… its $149 if you’re renewing, but still not bad.

    2. you must be checking some third party site, then. because i added it to my cart and sure enough, it’s $79.99

      i’d jump on this if i weren’t getting a SGS2 and dual-core devices didn’t exist yet =P

      1. Yes but only if you’re completely new to Verizon.

  2. This is only for NEW customers…

  3. The incredible 1 is better than the 2. Lol!

    1. How so?

    2. You do realize they’re using a new generation processor in the incredible 2, making it more power efficient at the same speed. and it runs the newer htc sense sooooo. you go ahead and by a incredible 1 if you want.

  4. The lack of 4G doesn’t really bother me, but the single core processor is a problem. I don’t want to miss out when developers (including google) start optimizing software for dual core devices. You know eventually there will be a version of Android (ice cream sandwich?) that will include “dual core processor” in the list of minimum specs.

Sorry HTC…I love you, but 2 years is to long to be stuck with already dated hardware.

    1. Erm, there have been rumors in the past that Froyo and Gingerbread wouldn’t support CPU’s that weren’t 1 GHz or more. And thats not the case, so I hardly doubt there is going to be a dual core minimum requirement anytime soon.

  5. Is it Netflix compatable? If not why bother?

    1. Really? You don’t get phones if they’re not Netflix compatible? Do you even have an Android phone now then?

  6. Android is whack.That’s all

  7. Why is this “news?” The Incredible is free from Amazon Wireless for new customers. Just find it at the right time. You’d have to be a clueless n00b to pay $80 with a new contract.

    1. its the incredible 2, not the first one.

    2. Wow! You’re and idiot. I could tell you thought you were smart there for a second, but it helps to read first before speaking.. Congrats

  8. I will wait… may be in matter of weeks it could be free.

  9. I have a phone in my name which my wife uses. CAn I get a completely new line @ 79.99?
