imo’s Instant Messenger Client Gets Pretty Nice Update


The folks at imo have updated their application to version 2.1 and it’s not just another round of bug fixes. Many of you will find something to like in this version. They’ve added emoticons, an improved layout, the ability to change font size and the option to get rid of that pesky persistent notification that everyone seems to hate so much. – New, simpler user interface
– Tabbed layouts so that you can see all of your chats from one screen
– Chat bubble notifications
– Emoticons
– Ability to adjust font size
– Option to disable notifications and the imo status bar icon
