Amazon has announced a new sweepstakes to celebrate the savings their Amazon Prime users get on shipping. They’re going alphabetically and guess what the first letter is – A! You’d know that if you had a brain, of course, but I bet you’re wondering what the A will stand for. Nope, it has nothing to do with red (and sometimes green), crunchy, delicious, round fruit. No, it has to do with robots. Namely, Androids.
The Android they’ll be giving away is a WiFi-only Motorola XOOM. Although the contest celebrates prime members, it’s open to anyone in the United States with a Facebook account. Simply “like” their page there to unlock a form where you can submit your drawing. It doesn’t take long at all and considering what you get should you be lucky enough to win, there shouldn’t be much complaining. Go ahead and get started over at the book of faces. Sales are so bad they’re trying to give them away
I never win anything but I’ll give it a shot. Thanks for mentioning this!
Woah! Im surprised A isnt for Apple….
US only :(
I would advise everyone to read their privacy clause and if you do enter this, you do so with a secondary email account. By entering, you’re basically giving them the right to flood your email account with ads and offers. Not worth it imo, but there are always those out there who want something for nothing, so I doubt this comment will make all of you pause before blindly looking for a freebie.
One would presume that is you want a Android device, and visit a Android based website you using GMail with its excellent SPAM control.
Why does everything cool to enter require a facebook account!?!? NO FAIR!!
(and no i don’t want one)
Can’t enter on the form, just hope posting will help
Isn’t what they’re doing illegal according to Facebook terms? You’re not allowed to force people to like your page to see the content (or as in this case, to enter a competition – heck, I think you’re not even allowed to run competitions through Facebook).
I still refuse to get a Facebook.
You’re not the only one.

Stupid IE 6 at work………..cant edit my posts…..
What i ment to say was, I prefer anonymity :)
I find it best to remain hidden as well.
I know that’s right!! Facebook is a complete waste of time. You’ve got your teenagers on it or your middle age people trying to relive their teenage years. Too much drama for me.
