Marketing Materials Arrive for Droid Incredible 2, Could Launch Any Day Now

8

The followup to last Spring’s smash hit on Verizon is just around the corner, and though rumors have long pointed to a late April launch for the HTC Droid Incredible 2 the arrival of in-store marketing materials puts the proverbial icing on the cake. Did we mention the DInc 2 is a world phone? The global nature of the handset features heavily into marketing, it would seem.

The best placed bet is on either April 21st or 28th for the Incredible 2’s launch. We still await official word from Verizon.

  1. Is this the same phone as the Incredible S? I wish Phandroid did a better job updating their phone overviews.

    1. Yes, it’s the same, rebranded for Verizon.

  2. April 29th is the Droid Incredible’s birthday. My phone is almost 1 year old and I don’t feel the need to upgrade. It still keeps up with the best phones out there.

    1. I think you are the first person to comment in regards to this phone that hasn’t complained about LTE or dual-core.

    2. I feel the same way! I feel like I actually made the best decision in terms of buying the Incredible last April. I’m still so happy with it. I have no reason to switch to anything else and I am excited to wait until next year and see what the mature LTE Androids will offer.

  3. Ill get it when it ships with 2.3, until then Ill stick with my current dinc. I like of these phones, not into the new huge phones coming out, Its fast, works great and is pretty much all I need. 3G is fast enough for me and dont really care about dual core. Its just a phone not my life. (lol).

  4. You know I think 4g and dual core is over rated the incredible s has the new HTC sense so I think ill get that over the thunderbolt. 4g only good for tethering your phone. Number one who’s going to download movies to there phone all that often to need 4g, two apps aren’t that large of a file, three it’ll cost more on data, five it’ll run up your data plan when Verizon caps our data before the end of the year.

    1. Exactly, you’re the first one to admit 4G in phones is overrated!!! I’m not from the US, so I kept quiet, but a high quality 3G connection is all these devices can handle today…
