AT&T is just about the last carrier to jump on the LG Optimus One bandwagon – every major and notable US carrier has one. That doesn’t mean they won’t be bringing one, though, and new press shots of the device suggest it could be making its way to the forefront before too long.
It more closely resembles MetroPCS’s rendition of the device but with a thicker bezel and a more prominent shade of gray. Specs aren’t anything special compared to other versions, but here’s a quick rundown in case you’ve forgotten – it has a 3.2-inch display, a 600MHz processor, Android 2.2, a camera, and more.
Don’t underestimate it because of its processor, either – we made the mistake of doing that when Sprint announced their Optimus S and were blown away by how speedy it was. We’ll look out for an announcement sometime this season. [PocketNow]
meh
AT&T should really revamp their prepaid market and launch some devices like this on it.
If AT&T gets this then the Atrix sales will tank even further.
Looks clunky, like a kid’s toy.
Optimus One variants are brilliant inexpensive phones, no doubt, but why buy this, when you can get the Optimus V for $150 off contract and pay less than a third of the price month to month for the plan?
Another hilarious fact about the plan: ATT’s only acceptable data plan (2GB Data Pro) costs the same as what Virgin Mobile charges for a complete plan with 300 minutes, unlimited texts and UNLIMITED data.
the optimistic one line is brilliant I love my fiance’s Optimus S
I love my optimus m, its a great phone for the price.
