SlingPlayer for Android Update Adds High-Quality Viewing

The guys at Sling Media have updated their SlingPlayer Android application to version 1.2, and there’s one big change that Sling fans will love: high-quality video. What more needs to be said? If you’ve already bitten the bullet on this $30 lifesaver, go and find your upgrade in the Android market. Other changes are highlighted below.

  • Adds higher quality video mode
  • Fixes a connectivity issue for some T-Mobile users when connecting over the cellular network
  • Fixes for Motorola Atrix
  • Adds full screen mode when on composite, s-video, and coaxial inputs.
