Sony Ericsson’s second-most exciting product announcement was the Xperia Pro – a high-end Xperia phone with a full slide-out QWERTY keyboard. It wasn’t much more than that, but they implemented a neat feature in their email application that’ll let you view your inbox in split panes. We’ll be heading out to the demo booths in a bit to get our hands on this and its cousins – the Xperia Play, Xperia Neo, and maybe the Xperia Arc.
no number row = sucks, and not a “full” qwerty slider
All that space and they couldn’t fit a Search key on either the face or the keyboard? Fail.
That keyboard looks aweful. It also looks totally different than the keyboard in engadgets hands on of it. Much bigger buttons

Apologize for the above posts. Whenever I tried to post, an admin username/password prompt showed up, and when I had none, it sent me to a different page. Hit back, and tried again. Same thing. Turns out, they both posted, despite my not being able to see them at first. Please fix phandroid. I am not an admin :p
Will be thrilled if it has a front facing camera too, otherwise another SE epic fail

damn, plenty of space for the 5th row in there and they’ve wasted it.
