Yesterday, we reported about the uncovering of a Samsung SCH-R910. Didn’t have many details on it, unfortunately, but I guessed that it could definitely be a Galaxy S phone. What we didn’t expect is that it would also carry LTE radios to be used on MetroPCS’ network. It also now bears a name: the Samsung Forte. Beside the 4G-ness is a 1GHz Samsung Hummingbird processor, a slide-out QWERTY keyboard, Android 2.2, a 5 megapixel camera, and TouchWiz 3.0. This leak didn’t add much, but we’ve got a name, we’ve got the keyboard, and we’ve got even more confirmation that this will be able to take advantage of Metro’s 4G network. That’s all “win” in my book. [via Samsung Hub]
[Update]: One more profile shot of the thing, courtesy of Samsung Hub.
Based on the photo, it looks like it might have a front facing camera too.
