Acer Liquid Mini Passes FCC with AT&T Bands

0

Acer’s unveiled – or at least made mention of – their Acer Liquid Mini smartphone at CES, and while it’s no powerhouse like a good majority of the phones announced – what with its 3.2 inch HVGA display, a 600MHz processor, 512MB of RAM, 5 megapixel camera, and Android 2.2 – it looks to be quite capable for a lot of first time smartphone users. It was spotted roaming around the FCC with 3G radios identical to AT&T’s here in the states, but remember that a lot of Canadian carriers share the same bands: this could very well be headed to the great white north. (And that’s more plausible to expect considering a lot of Acer’s phones launch up there and barely any in the United States. [FCC via PocketNow]
