Amazon Bringing a Kindle App Specifically for Android Tablets this Year

With the Android tablet game just about to explode with Honeycomb and high-end hardware from the mobile world’s top manufacturers, developers are finally starting to make tablet-friendly versions of their Android apps. We saw one of the biggest names – Opera – doing it yesterday, and Amazon looks to be following suit with their Kindle eReading app. There was no word on when we’d see this released – nor did we get any details as to what would set this version apart from their current app for smaller phones, but I’m excited to see what they’ll bring regardless.
