JDownloader is a popular download manager written in Java and used by thousands of people on many different platforms, but unfortunately they’ve not yet hopped onto the web-management bandwagon that many others have. (They have plans to, but there’s no telling when anything will come to form.) Thankfully, checking your downloads on the go is as easy as downloading JDownloaderRC. (We assume the “RC” stands for “Remote Control”)
Take a look at some of the core features you’ll get. (Remember that this is just a beta release, as it stands.):
– Show current downloads with packages content.
– Integration with navigator for sharing links.
– Add new downloads. Text parsing to detect new links.
– Stop/Start/Restart/Shutdown.
– Set speed limit.
– Activate/Desactivate premium’s accounts.
– and more…
I wanted to spread the word on this app because just as excellent a client JDownloader is, this third-party companion app will make the experience that much more satisfying. Head over to the Android market to try it out today. [JDownloader, JDownloaderRC]
just learned about this yesterday!
and now today they have a mobile app!
how the hell yall expect me to finish this guys website or do some work at work or spend more time with my son (even though he`s been happy with my android tablet playing games lately)…it not enough time in a day :(
thanks for this news! didn’t know about this app.
What would make it complete would be the ability to respond to captchas from the phone.
Nevermind a Remote Control version, I want an Android version of the full app :)
