US Cellular has just announced their latest Android smartphone, the LG Apex. The Apex is an Android 2.1 device with a slide-out QWERTY keyboard, and if it looks at all familiar that may be because it is simply a differently colored LG Ally, the mid-range device released for Verizon earlier this year. The specs remain the same as the Ally, a 3.2-inch 800×480 display and 3MP camera among them.
The phone will be available for purchase come November 19th at a price of $79.99 after an $80 mail-in rebate.

Keyboard Looks Nice, too bad dpad isn’t on the left side. The dedicated call and end buttons are nice too.
Android rolls onward.

Actually it doesn’t have an END button. I have one here in my hands in our store, and that’s just the sleep/wake/power button. It’s going to take awhile to get used to that. It still has the touch screen END button.
The specs remain the…)))
Actually that is a end button I hve that phone too
I’m 30-days new with a Smart phone and I’m loving what I can muddle through with. The How-To book is printed entirely too small and I get a migraine every time I spend time with it! Does anybody know of a website to d/l the How-To’s so those of us with “older” eyes can enjoy this phone as much as everybody else?
