Well this is odd. Verizon’s just kicked the original Droid 2 out of the barn and decided to start selling the Global edition of the phone right away with no fanfare. We aren’t complaining. That would be stupid. But if you were holding out for the Droid 2 Global (which we once thought to be delayed, but probably still is) then go ahead and add it to your cart now. [Droid-Life]
congrations youre droid 2 is now out dated!
Nice device )
boom! just ordered the device last night 11/8/2010 on the verizon website. free overnight delivery. i get to see that 1.2 ghz processor in action tomorrow!
Well, I’m sure it’s a great phone.. but unless Verizon has done something different, “global” is a bit misleading.. I hope that I am wrong, and I would like to be, but Europe is not part of their “global”, at least not that I could find at Verizon’s site that showed their phone and data roaming areas.. which is weird since Vodaphone owns 45 percent of Verizon.
If I order this phone from US at Full Retail Price, will I be able to use this phone in India???
and for $199 does it come with a verizon SIM which cannot be removed or I can change the SIM once I get it and use the Indian Carrier SIM???
