Heads up, Canadian readers! Rogers has just lowered the on-contract pricing of several of their Android phones. Included in the price cuts are the Sony Ericsson Xperia X10, the Acer Liquid E, and the Motorola Quench. If you are looking to get your hands on any of those handsets in Canada, now would be a great time to consider doing so.
The X10 is now priced at $99.99, down from $149.99. The Liquid E and Quench can be yours for only $29.99, both down from $49.99. All pricing is with a new three-year contract. Pretty good deals to be had there, indeed.

3 year contract, ehy?
3 year contract? Never heard of that o.O
If you think that things are a ripoff in the US, come to Canada.
Here in Canada, we get 3 year contracts and even worse data plans with Rogers or as we call it, “Robbers”.
Its common here in Canada.. the 3 year contract. Let me tell you that this is pretty a long time to wait when you want to change your cellphone or carrier :(
wish we still had one year contracts in USA
Yeah, it sucks having 3 years. You’re eligible for upgrade prices (the “new customer, new contract” price) after two years for smartphones. The only caveat to the upgrade … when you do you’re locked in for another 3 years of overpriced crap.
What a sad, sad lineup. The best Android device you can buy in Canada is still a Nexus One ordered from Google. This country remains iPhoneland.
And yeah, the three-year contracts are horrible.
Now that is a bum deal.
Sounds like a good deal to me!
