V Cast For Android Goes Live Today, Will Cost You Some Dollars

At the end of the last week, we learned Verizon was finally going to bring their long-awaited V Cast service to Android devices. Many Verizon customers have missed the service that they enjoyed on their other non-Android handsets (including some feature phones, even) so it’s refreshing to see Verizon’s finally offering up the goods.

I’m not nor have I ever been a Verizon customer, so I’m not sure if V Cast already came with the burden of an additional charge, but you’ll need to add an extra $10 to your phone bill each month if you want to enjoy the service. If $10 isn’t much of a hassle for you and you need to catch up on the footie matches starting this week (June 11th, specifically) for the 2010 FIFA World Cup that Univision will be helping to provide, then you won’t want to wait on downloading the app right now from the Android market. Full press details lie straight ahead.
