Dell Streak Officially Gliding to O2 UK this June

6

We’d already gotten word that the Dell Streak was heading to O2 in June (and another carrier in the US later on in the summer) thanks to CEO Michael Dell, but now they’ve made it official with a press release. They describe the Streak as a tablet  best for people needing on-the-go entertainment and a superior navigation experience.

Pricing for the phone is still yet to be announced, and the vague June date still doesn’t give us a solid date to look forward to just yet (they did announce that these details would be available ahead of the device’s launch, though). It’ll sport a 1Ghz Qualcomm Snapdragon, a 5-megapixel autofocus camera with dual LED flash, Bluetooth, 3G, WiFi, and more. Press details can be found below.

The "Google Phone" sounded too awesome to pass up, so I bought a G1. The rest is history. And yes, I know my name isn't Wilson.

  1. Any word on what resolution it is? Too small and too soon for the brag-worthy 1280×720 (aka 720p) surely.

  2. 5 inch isn’t to small considering the EVO is 4.2ish and has 720p. I’ll have to check this out, see if it’s worth upgrading to, especially with the EVO not likely to turn up over in the UK

  3. Android 1.6 makes me sad.
