UPDATE: Realized after posting this it actually DOESN’T have Android. I jumped the gun. I guess my thought is that it – and everything else – SHOULD have Android and I just assumed. Tisk tisk. So instead how about we discuss the lack of Android Media Players – maybe someone will contribute some awesome media player software that, through the glory of MODDING, rooted users can eventually hack onto our Android Phones.

I’m guessing we’ll see a bunch more of these Android MP3/Media players over the next 10 months.
Seems a little too small…
Also, do you know when the winner for the Nexus One contest will be anounced?
Hey Rob, you sure on this one? The Vision 3 isn’t a new device (not today anyway) and i’m pretty sure its Archos OS not Android!
If it has a resistive touch screen than I say boo! If it has android market and a capacitive touch screen i’ll buy one for my little sister. Nuff said :)
Umm wait i just noticed… i dont think this is android… ummnn lol if no android than screw it ;)
@Delphi Can you read? Archos 3 to compete against the Ipod Touch Bwahahahahah! It better be so cheap that people cant say no. Android games Suck so does their music player, I love android but not for games and music
Archos Vs Ipod Touch Bwahahahahah!
This thing want even an competitor.. lack app support and development will send it to bargain bins at big lot within months
I meant isn’t even a competitor..
The current media players in Android are terrible compared to the iPhone. Even WiMo has better multimedia, IMO.
If I were making a PMP, I would not use Android right now.
Dang, I’d really like an android ipod touch rival.
Good one Rob……holy shit, for gods sake do your research before posting, otherwise the site gets compromised. LOL
yeaaaah.. i’m definitely unsubscribing to this site.. it’s creditability keeps getting knocked down w/ mistakes like this
Android apps are getting better every day and i’ll take an open android system (not gimped like some archos and dell) over controlling icrap type system any day.
On another note, while yes he made a mistake which could have likley been avoided it was an honest one and guess what that happens with people from time to time. So all you whiners go ahead and unsubcribe, what a touchy bunch! Give the guy a break, there are more important things in life to worry bout than an honest little mistake that. Either way you sure wont see me unsubscribing.
Creative has an android player. The Zii. It’s pretty awesome, but they’re not selling it to consumers yet. You can get the developer’s kit though. I think it’d be an ipod killer if they got their act together though. up to 32 gb of onboard space, sd slot for expansion, android, I presume it’ll allow tons of formats.
Well I mean…with OnlY a 3 inch screen how the hey is this going to go toe to toe with the itouch? Where’s the logic in that?
this is old news, why u posted this??
archos 3 vision already have been released long time ago
