Motorola Sholes Looks Like A Morrison For Big Boys
Everyone is excited for Motorola’s first Android Phone, especially since the mere existence of Motorola is leaning on its Android hopes. We’ve already seen the Motorola Morrison, Motorola Calgary and Motorola Heron… now we’re hearing word (and seeing pictures) of a new Motorola Android… the Motorola Sholes:
Most discussion up to now has been about the Motorola Morrison, which the Android public has decided is targeted towards teen texters based on the shape, colors and plasticky look:
If the Morrison is for teens than the Sholes is for big boys (and girls) because this thing looks pretty bad (in the Michael Jackson sense). But if you take a look at our Rumored Android Phones in the Android Phone Guide you’ll see that the Motorola Sholes looks most like the Calgary:
The Motorola Calgary was rumored to be the first ever Motorola Android on Verizon Wireless but the article outing the Motorola Sholes is saying the exact same thing – that it will be the first ever Motorola Android on Verizon Wireless. Actually they don’t explicitly state that but they claim an October launch… and I don’t see another MotoDroid launching on VZW before then. So could the Sholes just be a re-designed version of the Calgary, made to look more sleek and sexy? Or are they really two different phones.
Time will tell ladies and gentlemen… in the meantime, speculate below.
