Samsung is currently rolling out a 3rd beta release of Nougat for the Samsung Galaxy S7 and Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge. The update adds Samsung Pass, Samsung Notes, auto-brightness toggle, and re-organizing the recents screen. But the most interesting thing is the new name for Samsung’s Android skin.

In the Software Info section, you can see it is now called “Samsung Experience.” This is the same software that we have known as TouchWiz for a long time. Samsung has shied away from the TouchWiz name in recent years, but it was never given a proper replacement. This new name goes with Samsung’s toned down approach, something that TouchWiz was notoriously bad about.

To download this update, join the Galaxy Beta Program. What do you think of the new name?
