Sony Xperia X Compact benchmark shows small phone that packs a punch

0

The Sony Xperia Compact series has been a favorite among many Android enthusiasts. Not many manufacturers make small phones these days, but Sony has pumped out a few solid compact phones. The Sony Xperia Z5 was the last in the Compact line before the Z series was killed off. Now, Sony is working on the X series, and the Compact is back.

GFXBench gives us our first look at the specs on the Sony Xperia X Compact. The screen is only 4.6-inches but it has 1080p resolution. It’s rocking the Snapdragon 820 processor, 4GB of RAM, and a 15MP camera. These are specs that are right up there with newly released devices like the Samsung Galaxy Note 7. It seems almost too good to be true that we would see those specs in a small phone.

The biggest problem with Sony devices is getting them here in the U.S. The iPhone SE showed that people will still buy small phones, but Sony will have to get the device in stores for people to see. Are you interested in this device at all?
