The official Apple Music app for Android now supports SD cards

In a new update heading out to the official Apple Music app on Google Play, the official Android application is finally being update to include support for SD cards. The new feature allows users to save or pin music to an SD card and is great for those looking to conserve data on their cellphone plans, or need something to listen to on the long Whether users are looking to conserve data on their cellphone plans, or are looking to download music for that long plane ride (offline listening), they can now save or pin music to their SD card for listening.

It’s almost crazy to think Apple Music didn’t support this feature from the get-go. Lately, we’re starting to see more and more OEMs move toward expandable storage on their devices, with even Samsung rumored to support micro SD card expansion in #TheNextGalaxy (Samsung Galaxy S7). Looks like Apple is right on time. You can find Apple Music — still in beta — for free right now on the Google Play Store.
