This is the new Project Ara logo

We’ve been hearing a lot from Project Ara over the past few weeks. After learning that their market pilot wont be launching in Puerto Rico (but likely coming to the US) and has been delayed until 2016 (but not because the phone failed a drop test) Ara is now unveiling their new logo. Posted to their Twitter account moments ago, the Ara team says their followers would be the first to see it. Because we know not all of you keep up with Twitter, we’ve posted it here.

The new logo simply spells out “ARA” vertically with white font and a black background. It’s rather plain and, well, underwhelming. Nothing really too special. We’re not sure of the significance of the new logo, so we’ll have to wait for the Ara team to explain more. In the meantime, what do you guys think?
