You can now buy the LG Watch Urbane from the Google Store for $350

LG promised the LG Watch Urbane would be up for purchase in the Google Store by the end of this month, and sure enough it is. You can head right here to buy LG’s latest Android Wear smart watch for $350.

That’s a lofty price tag for the LG Watch Urbane, though many would argue it’s for good reason. The device is crafted using premium materials (stainless steel body in gold or silver, genuine leather straps) and a very nice design. It’s probably the best looking Android Wear smart watch to date.

The LG Watch Urbane sports a 1.3-inch 320 x 320 P-OLED display, 512MB of RAM, 4GB of storage, Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 400 chipset. It also runs the absolute latest version of Android Wear out of the box (which brings support for WiFi, always-on apps, emoji gestures and more).

Unfortunately it doesn’t look like you’d have your watch in time for weekend fun. Google’s store currently shows that it’s not expected to leave the warehouse until May 8th, though as we’ve seen in the past a few lucky orders could arrive much sooner than anticipated. Be sure to place your order for one if you have the money to spare and have been waiting for a smart watch that’s as beautiful as it is capable.

The "Google Phone" sounded too awesome to pass up, so I bought a G1. The rest is history. And yes, I know my name isn't Wilson.

    1. Yep, i’m looking forward to that. I paid $165 for my moto 360 and it was worth every penny. $200 is the most i would pay for a smartwatch

      1. I went then extra mile and got the metal band for 80 bucks off. Used a small portion of tax refund for it lol.

        1. I had a metal band but it just didn’t feel right. I went ahead and got the cognac leather band. I would love the new mono band but it looks like it’s not available anymore.

          1. Was the mono band ever available? I could never find it!

          2. Just checked, It’s available again but only if you add it to a new order of the moto 360. Check the motomaker 360 website.

  2. The 350$ burning a hole in my pocket is reserved for the NEW G4 BABY!

    1. Add another $200 and then you can have the new g4

  3. Worried about screen burn in

    1. It’s OLED…. Or are you being sarcastic?

      1. Oled is the worst at burn in

        1. Ah! Good to know! They’re probably banking on us getting tons of notifications to keep that screen moving!

          1. Yeah, mist be. I work at an att store and our galaxy s5, moto x 2014, and our old lg g flex all have screen burn in.

          2. If you’re going to show the time it’s no problem since time is moving :-)
If you use tech with oled regularly you don’t get burn in – showing the same kiosk mode in a store isn’t regular use.

          3. Yeah I know, but its still going to be showing a watch face and the numbers aren’t moving. Not sure if it will burn in with the dim mode on.

          4. That’s not a good way to compare really. Those screens are on all day every day. Odds are you will actually be using the watch not to mention if you want to save battery it’s going to go to sleep until you hold it up.

  4. Yeah, must be. I work at an att store and our galaxy s5, moto x 2014 and our old lg g flex all have screen burn in.

  5. “It’s probably the best looking Android Wear smart watch to date.” scratch the android wear part!

  6. Still waiting for Huatch.

  7. It’s a gwatch r with a paint job. Same materials except for the strap.

    1. G Watch R apparently doesn’t have Wifi, which the new Android Wear update is making full use of, this does.

  8. Looks nice, can’t wait to see it in person.
