We know many of you are super excited to get your hands on a brand new HTC One M8. The device is hot! It offers some great specs, an awesome list of new features and a build quality & design that will turn heads. To make things better, HTC is holding one of the best launches we have seen in Android’s history.

The HTC One M8 is being released in over 230 carriers and over 100 countries. In addition, people in Australia, Taiwan, the UK, Germany, France, China and the US will all have it available before the end of April.

Can I buy it today?

There have been rumors of the device becoming available as soon as today, its announcement date (March 25th). This is certainly true! Verizon stores across the USA will have it available in store starting TODAY. Or you can buy it online after 1 PM Eastern from one of the following US and Canadian carriers.

  • AT&T
  • Sprint
  • Verizon Wireless
  • Rogers
  • Bell
  • Telus

Price starts at $199 to $249 on-contract (depending on the carrier), while buying it off-contract will set you back $599 to $649. There will also be a Google Play Edition that will cost $699, but that version is coming later.

For more purchasing details, you can also go to HTC’s One M8 purchase page. All details in that page should go live as soon as 1 PM Eastern comes around. So, who is buying one? I am thinking of heading to my local Verizon store and getting one today!

But it’s good to wait. I shouldn’t rush. Make sure the kinks are truly worked out.

  2. I just feel like they could have done better…i think the rumors really just maid it seem better than it was…ill have to mess with it first…although i’m stilling planing on buying the M8

  3. Good luck calling Sprint.

As a long time customer, the customer service people are usually friendly, but my god, call their sales line, and it’s a foreign call center, and they try to upsell you every god damn thing on the planet.

    1. Good job keeping people updated, Derek. GPEs are going to skyrocket in popularity because nobody can say “I like this phone, but not the software” as much.

    2. Appears to be 100% T-Mobile friendly this time around.

  4. Too bad Sprint doesn’t seem to offer next day shipping on it. Have to wait up to 5 days. Oh well…

  5. damn sprint, $250 for the upgrade but its $199 for new customers. wheres the reward for loyalty?!!!!

    1. Behold the power of not getting what you want.

  6. Verizon wants $799 for the phone off contract… WTF I guess I will wait for another option.

  7. Ordered mine through AT&T with free next day, hopefully i get it tomorrow!

  8. Quick! You need more SEO… Let’s get a new article about The All New HTC One M8 2014 unboxing and first reactions on sale where to buy comparissons vs. Samsung Galaxy S5 vs. iPhone 6 rumors.

    :P

  9. Anyone else having problems ordering through AT&T? It’s showing up on their main website but when I go to buy it, it doesn’t show up on the premier website that it forwards me to. It’s just not listed on there for me.

    1. You’re an employee? That may be why

      1. No I’m not an employee.

  10. GPe is going to be $699?! I’ll have to wait and see what T-Mobile is going to sell at. Hopefully GPe supports 700 band as well

    1. GPe specs say LTE on 700MHz (A/B/C unspecified) and AWS.

  11. What happened to the Dev Ed??

  12. The HTC M8 looks great! It will face great competition from the Samsung Galaxy S6. I read it here.

  13. I’ve tried two Verizon stores now, both refuse to sell the M8 @ full retail, off-contract/unsubsidized. They’re “reserved” for new two year contracts. It’s fucking ridiculous that I can’t just walk into the phone store and buy a phone without signing away 2 years of my life.

  14. how can i buy it???????????????????
