We were hoping that with the slight change in the Active’s hardware over the regular S4, software updates wouldn’t be affected. Sad to say, they were. It’s been a long time coming, but today Samsung Galaxy S4 Active owners were treated to Android 4.3 Jelly Bean on their devices.
Weighing in at 721MB, the JSS15J.I537UCUBML2 update (rolling out now over-the-air) brings such improvements as Samsung Galaxy Gear compatibility, drag-and-drop uninstall/disable applications function, and AT&T’s Signature Experience apps (bloatware) like Kindle, Lookout, City ID, Password Keeper, Games and AT&T Mobile Protection.
As usual, you can manually check for the update yourself by jumping into Settings > About device > Software update > Check for updates. Cheers!

Hello Admin thanks a lot for these information. I
am a regular reader of your blog, so I appreciate all the useful. In your last month blog i found information about Battery
Stories (Android App) & I Downloaded Free app & My Kids Love that . Thanks again for these information.
Does this update suck as badly as the Galaxy S3 Android 4.3 update for Verizon? Besides resetting a lot of the phone’s settings and adding extra bloatware, it seems that the browser now has some stability issues as well. Also yesterday i read a news here http://www.smartphonesupdates.com/samsung-galaxy-note-3-android-4-4-kitkat-update-starts-rolling-out/ Samsung Galaxy Note 3 users can expect to see the Android 4.4 KitKat OS update arrive on their handsets in the very near future.
The Galaxy S4 Active 4.3 update lets you see Emojis on social networks. No More Android Emojis and Blank Boxes.
