Rezound-inspired flash mob looks more like a music video

Verizon posted a video to their YouTube account to commemorate the release of Android 4.0 for the HTC Rezound. In the video, a group of dancers begin following a girl (an actress part of the flash mob) who just got finished purchasing the device.

As it’s a Beats-enabled device she is listening to the music that the mob is dancing to, and the idea is that she isn’t supposed to know that they’re following her for quite some time. The mob gets bigger as the video goes along, and it all ends once she gets a music-halting call from her mom. It’s cool to watch so be sure to hit that play button above.

tomorrow will be 9 months since it was released. the next version of android is already out. I have a sensation and learned from that. I wont buy a non nexus device again. They also unlocked the global capabilities for it. again too little too late.

    • JosephLagalla

sensation is still going fine here after rooting and installing 4.0 and sense 4.0. I plan on continuing to use it.

oh i know mine has been runing elegancia sense 4 v2.0 for like a month without a reboot and its still just as fast and fluid as the day i slapped it on there. not a single FC or issue. i just think its crap that i had to do this to get some real support for my device. thank FSM for the Android Dev community

Verizon needs to stop making music video like commercials and spend that time on releasing timely updates instead, you’re a internet / phone provider not a dance studio >.>

    • JulianZHuang

actually, htc are the one who responsible for the coding and updates. but then again, verizon always require their partner dump all kind of trash into the os and delay it.

    She calls her mom, “babe”?

So in your article you’re going to let a comment about people dancing like that being monkeys fly Quentyn?

  • bmg314

    Ummm, “monkeys”? O_o

Truly one of the most worthless ad’s in Verizon’s history.

I wish I was born in 1935. That way I would live long enough to see Android but not be annoyed by the stupid ass “swag” fad, and also autotune.

Black music is taking a very strange direction. A mix of synthetic music with talent-less vocals + lyrics….

    • DrCarpy

Yeah cause Madonna, Lady Gaga, Brittany Spears, Justin Bieber, Justin Timberlake, and other Pop acts never used autotunes….If you don’t like black folks, with your ignorant monkey comment, that’s too bad…we’re not going anywhere.

  • Ben Baranovsky

Wow that’s a lot of camera angles.

  • JulianZHuang

thats impossible. she just bought the phone, where did she get all the music? play music? radio?
