Bootloader Officially Unlocked for HTC Desire Z, ChaCha, Aria, DROID Incredible, Status, and T-Mobile G2

HTC’s on a roll with their bootloader unlock program as they have added support for six new devices today. Those devices include the HTC Desire Z, ChaCha, Aria, DROID Incredible, Status, and T-Mobile G2. While some of these devices already have community-developed methods it’s always good to see official support from the OEMs. Head to HTCDev to get started. [Thanks Joel!]

  4. on a roll? these phones are ancient! no one cares whether or not these phones has an unlocked bootloader

  5. The pones may be old, but it is a step in the right direction.  Not where Motorola is going!

  7. My Incredible had a locked boot loader?  Didn’t stop me from rooting it last year and putting CyanogenMod on it in less than 20 minutes, hah.
