The "Google Phone" sounded too awesome to pass up, so I bought a G1. The rest is history. And yes, I know my name isn't Wilson.

  1. LOL no one will ever buy a LapDock.

    1. Are you referring to the price?
I think the lapdock looks like a great idea…just a bit overpriced (right now). It will come down.

I’m not buying a Razr and I don’t think the GN will have that as an accessory.

    2. ? at $99 its an awesome idea, at $199 it’s getting close.. so whats your beef?

  2. What’s the difference between the laptop docks

    1. 3 inches. The expensive one is a 14″.

    2. I can’t tell all the difference but the way the phone docks in is one difference. One mounts right into the lapdock while the other uses a cable. I wouldn’t surprised to see a difference in battery size but not much else.

  3. 300 for a lapdock? right. ppl might actualy buy them once they are marked down to 99 bucks and the phoen is free after being out 9 months.

  4. You probably don’t work for a company then that gives out cellphones to its employees… My work gives me a cellphone and lapdocks are subsidized by our company now too

  5. The laptop dock might just have me choose the RAZR over the Nexus. It is a little high though. $150 is fair.

  6. I thought they were suppose to some out with a universal dock for about $100 that works for any Motorola Smart phone????

  7. I think the 100 is the universal dock.

  8. I have the 300 dollar lapdock for the bionic…love it.

  9. If somebody really wants a keyboard, then for about $100 more one can get the new Asus Transformer Prime coming this Nov.

  10. Moto always comes with a great accessory lineup.

  11. Does anyone ever buy these? Why would you spend $300 on a “lapdock”? Just use your damn computer.

    1. Clearly the point here is missed entirely… the ‘lapdock’ would REPLACE ‘your damn computer’.

Personally, I couldn’t do it, but there are plenty of people out there who can function on his hardware alone.

Simply surfing the net and checking emails? A full-fledged computer isn’t needed.

      1. If you’re spending $300, you might as well get a computer that can do more than simply surf the net and check emails.

        1. Yea…like Im going to replace my Dell Studio XPS 15.4″ LED, core i5, 8gb memory and a 500GB HDD (which scores 6.4 in Windows score index) which cost me $400! My laptop is easily 5x more powerful and useful than any Android. Nice try AGAIN Motorola!!!!!!!!

  12. $59.99 for a piece of plastic with an HDMI plug on it? Seriously?
