Motorola Photon 4G Available for Pre-Order from Walmart for $160

15

If you’re in the market for Sprint’s upcoming dual-core Motorola PHOTON 4G, which is now set to come out July 31st, you’ll want to take a look at some of your buying options. One of those options is Walmart, who is offering the device on presales for $160 after singing a two-year agreement. This is in contrast to the $200 you’ll have to pay on Sprint. It’s a fantastic price for what looks like one of the year’s most powerful and hottest devices. You can jump over there now to get started. [via Sprint Users, Thanks Marco!]

The "Google Phone" sounded too awesome to pass up, so I bought a G1. The rest is history. And yes, I know my name isn't Wilson.

  1. They need to promote this phone more. It’s a beast.

    1. I can get the Photon with 1Ghz Dual core or I can get an Evo 3d with a 1.2 Ghz dual core and 3d camera, or I can get an SGS2 with 1.2Ghz dual core and Super AMOLED+ screen. I honestly think that Motorola is falling asleep at the wheel.

      1. In defense of the Photon it does come with some pretty cool accessories ala the Atrix like the laptop dock w/ Webtop (well not yet but it’s coming) that the other devices don’t have. The laptop dock is the most compelling for me.

        1. Wow, someone actually cares about that overpriced dock? Hello, I am Stake and I thought I would never meet one of you.

  2. $629 for the no-contract price??? No thanks!

    1. The no-contract prices are usually much cheaper when you order directly from Sprint. …about 200 bucks cheaper.

      1. Really? Good to know!

        1. Yea it is.. for example, Best Buy’s off-contract price for the EVO 3D is $700, but if you buy it off-contract through Sprint it is only $550.

  3. The cylons are coming.

  4. I paid $32.67 for a XBOX 360 and my mom got a 17 inch Toshiba laptop for $94.83 being delivered to our house tomorrow by FedEX. I will never again pay expensive retail prices at stores. I even sold a 46 inch HDTV to my boss for $650 and it only cost me $52.78 to get. Here is the website we using to get all this stuff, LiveCent.com

  5. New subscribers only. Meh…I’d rather get the Evo 3D.

    1. Evo 3D is a joke. I returned mine already. Build quality stinks, 3G is spotty.

Just go play with one. The camera button wriggles around like its just going to fall out in a month or two. They also slimmed down the screen. bs if you ask me. Id take the Photon any day..

Unfortunately, the bootloader is locked on this one as well so I wait for that SGS2..

  6. Can you pre-order it in store instead of online?
