I-Buddie Android Netbook Gets Tested On Video
| by Rob Jackson on April 21st, 2009 |
While we were busy telling you about the Skytone Alpha-680 Android Netbook the rest of the interwebz was bringing you news about the I-Buddie Android Netbook that got its own little video demo. Although it is complete with error messages and underwhelming footage, rumor has it that it IS indeed a prototype and the company plans to launch this to the real world at some point:
The Skytone news came with pictures, specs a rumored price, its own product page and all that good stuff but in regards to the i-Buddie it seems we only have this video to prod our interest. With today’s news already being dominated by Android Netbooks I feel obligated to pose the question: are you more excited about an Android mobile phone coming to your carrier of choice or an Android Netbook launching for you to snap up?

I am very interested in a netbook with android if the price point is below $200.

justjimjpc: look at their article on the Skytone Alpha-680. $99, convertible tablet netbook. Looks amazing, if it comes to the US and keeps that price range.

I’m more interested in a Android phone, since I think it’s more exciting and innovative.

I don’t understand the idea behind this. As Jompa said, Android on a phone is exciting and innovative. On a PC? No thanks. I guess it’ll get some people behind it for the price point.
