The iPhone X and the Samsung Galaxy S8 are poised to be the top smartphones for the coming year. We always like to compare the latest iPhone with the Android competition. The iPhone X and Galaxy S8 have a lot in common. Both feature 5.8-inch OLED displays with very small bezels and 12MP cameras.
It’s always hard to compare specs with an iPhone because they don’t perform the same. The iPhone X has 3GB of RAM while the Galaxy S8 has 4GB. Apple makes its own in-house processor, in this case, the A11, while Samsung is using the Snapdragon 835. It’s hard to say one will perform better than the other based on specs alone. We have to put them side by side.
The iPhone usually can’t compete with the top Android phones in spec wars, but the iPhone X seems to be a big step for Apple. This is an iPhone that truly has the specs to be considered a “flagship” phone. The Galaxy S8 still takes the cake, but the iPhone X puts up a stiff competition.
