Archos 50 Diamond

The Archos 50 Diamond is an upcoming premium smartphone announced at CES 2015. The smartphone boasts a 5-inch 1080p resolution display and a Snapdragon 615 octa-core chipset that features a set of four 1.7GHz cores, as well as a set of four 1GHz cores in ARM’s big.LITTLE configuration for 8 total cores.

Other notable specs include 2GB of RAM, a 16MP rear camera, a whopping 8MP front facing camera, 16GB of internal storage with a microSD card slot (up to128GB), and a 2,700mAh battery. The device will have 4G LTE and launch with Android 4.4 KitKat out of the box.

If we know anything about Archos, this should be a relatively affordable handset for anyone who seeks a high-end smartphone experience without high-end price tag.
