If you were some of the many who helped Marvel/Disney’s The Avengers rack up $200 million at the box office this past weekend, you’ve no doubt been bit by the super hero bug (or should I say — radio active spider?). Well, DeviantArt member Bloop might be able to scratch that itch with his super hero wallpapers perfect for your Android devices. While these walls are a little more tailored for use on a desktop (the faces are all off in the corners), when applying them to your Android device, cropping makes it easy to center, or off center, the images appropriately. Here’s the end result of Sentinel being applied to my Galaxy Nexus.
Pretty snazzy right? In the download pack, you’re sure to find at least a few of your favorite super heroes and even a few surprises thrown in there as well (read: The Tick). The minimal design and textured background go great on your ICS running or themed device and I hope you enjoy them as much as I do.
If you’re downloading the 47MB zip file (below) straight to your phone, just make sure you have a file manager app to unzip the file and view/apply the wallpaper of your choosing.

If you’re using a custom launcher, you’ll have to turn off the option for “scrollable wallpaper.” Otherwise, for some weird reason, it will be all blown up and super zoomed in.

This is a stupid question, but after unzipping the file, where do I place the wallpapers? I’m not a noob by any means, but just can’t think of the answer.
Put them on your phone’s SD card. I renamed the unzipped file to “Bloops Super Hero Walls” and placed it inside the “Pictures” folder on my SD card. Then go into your gallery app and apply the wallpaper of your choosing :)

these are awesome, if you suffer from the wallpaper zoom bug that occurs (I’m using nova laucher with ics leak fd26 on my epic touch) wallpaper wizard from the play store fixes that.

is there any way to get these to stop zooming so much? i turned the scrolling off on nova launcher, and I tried every option on wallpaper wizardrii that I think would help. I’d prefer if I could get the face in the bottom corner, as intended. thanks
