We’re not at all surprised by this bit of news considering new devices have one-upped the DROID Bionic since its debut. The news is that Verizon has dropped its price to $200. It’s the standard on-contract price we see from other carriers for their high-end phones so while it’s cheaper than the norm for Verizon customers, it’s still not quite cheap. I would say “Could this be because the Nexus is going on pre-order tomorrow”, but we all know that’s probably not going to happen. If anything, they’ve lowered the price because the D4 is coming out.

Verizon seems to over price all of their phones at $299 then drop them within a month or two of release! Honestly, not even the iPhone is worth $299 with any amount of memory!
An iPhone isn’t worth $99

Searching the last Verizon MAP showed the $300 price was going to be until 3/8/12. Interesting to have it drop over 4 months before that point.
