I wonder how much HTC paid for those patents.
I wouldn’t be surprised if it were Ten dollars. ($10)
If the parties really wanted to make it difficult to argue that HTC paid a non token amount, they could make it $100. That’s still just as close to zero as $1 — for either HTC or Google — but makes it a lot harder to argue that they didn’t pay something of “value”.
I like how Tech Crunch called out the dude that writes for FOSS Patents. He’s been called out before for being a lil too pro Apple…
What kills me is cuz he’s some kind of patent guru or attorney…iFans eat that shit up like ice cream.
