I picked one up this weekend to play with while I waited for the Transformer to become available. Luckily I didn’t have to wait long, as I got one from BestBuy on the way now.
Overall it’s nice but my biggest gripes are the weight (I have the g-tab and it’s about the same weight), placement of the front-facing camera, and placement of the volume rocker. And for $50 less the Transformer also comes with a much better screen.
It’s nice if you’re looking for a solid tablet for under $500 but I’d still recommend the Transformer over this any day
I feel bad saying it, but after playing with the iPad 2 most android tablets feel a little bit chunky. I’m hoping the galaxy tab 10.1 comes touchwiz free. If so I’m buying one.
I will take chunky and have the full web available to me. Once you use the Iconia for a few days you will apreciate tabbed browsing, the great sound from the speakers and the USB port. This is a solid tablet and it it good to see it have a big distribution Chanel.

“worse than the Iconia” you got to be kidding. The Transformer has benefits from great advertising and limited availability to increase its appeal. However you need to purchase the dock on the transformer to gain usb access. This thing looks great and has a usb port on board and w/ honeycomb having usb host capabilities this makes this or the toshiba model coming out better options
