Thinking of all the good times we have had with the HTC Droid Incredible, it’s almost unbearable to think the phone would ever reach its end of life at Verizon, but sure enough that is the case. The phone is no longer being offered via Verizon’s site and retail stores are said to be selling out their remaining stock with no plans to replenish.
Launching last Spring, the Droid Incredible gave us a solid year of joy, but all is not for weeping. Remember the HTC Droid Incredible 2 is coming up soon enough. Our most recent information points to an April 28th release for that device, though with this news perhaps that date will be bumped up a bit sooner.

I had the Incredible the first day ov release hands down it had it flaws but I personally don’t care what anyone says it was a great phone and I think it stood up to the name. HTC did a awesome job with the phone I think its way better then the Droid X. I would be on my Droid X if my usb port didn’t take a dive. I can’t charge it anymore. That’s my opinion ov that phone so don’t knock me cause I had a awesome hacking and user experience with mine im sorry if u didn’t or waited and got stuck with the second version ov the incredible. RIP HTC DROID INCREDIBLE U LIVED TO UR NAME AND U WERE A GREAT FLAGSHIP PHONE ON Verizon

Agree with both of you, but you know I don’t think there will ever be a phone without flaws. Wouldn’t be fun if the phones were perfect LOL.
My boyfriend had an incredible, I think it would have been better with a custom rom… I played with it but it was just about as fast as my Eris is on gb. .. but I’m biased anyway lol

I love my incredible! I also have a galaxy s and that phone sits on my desk gathering dust……just sayin’ I do not intend to upgrade for a while, there are so many rocking phones on the way, I really want to see them before purchasing/replacing this one! Even when I do my guess is I will hold on to this one to play with roms as it is definitely friendly for such activity! Incredible FTW!
The Incredible is honestly, imo, the best Android device Verizon ever released. The right size, fast, great camera, its definitely a classic. Sad to see it go so soon, but at least we are getting Gingerbread

Well, it’s still a fantastic phone and Verizon still has nothing better than it. And unless the incredible 2 gets a quick spec upgrade I’ll be holding onto my incredible for a few more months.
Still love my DInc! Curious to see the new version but what a great phone. Love the size, speed, camera, ….. yah I know I’m preaching to the choir. Like my old jeep wrangler I’ll be driving my DInc till the wheels fall off! Can’t wait for Gingerbread!!

May 6th, 2010 was a good day. That’s the day I bought my Dinc. I originally went to my Verizon store to upgrade from my Samsung Omnia to the Omnia II when the sales guy persuaded me to look at the Incredible. Prior to that moment, I had never really looked at HTC phones. After playing around with the demo, I was sold and I never looked back. Sure, about a month after having the phone, I experienced the random reboot problem that really frustrated me because Verizon could not explain it. But then after the Froyo update, not one problem since. There is still a fun factor with this phone. It’s great when you have some time to kill. Android Market is the shhhh. I really hope Gingerbread gets pushed to the Dinc. I think it’s only fitting that this awesome device gets this as a last tribute. Looking forward to having this phone for months to come until I’m due for my upgrade in Jan’12. I’ll more than likely go with the Dinc 2 or T-Bolt. Maybe by then there will be a T-Bolt 2.

I love my D-INC. Got it day one. I hope whatever I get after it is as awesome and reliable. I’m gonna miss it when I replace it, especially the 30+ hours I get out of it with the stock battery.
