Power stations are insanely useful devices. Whether you’re looking to bring it with you on a camping trip to power things like a kettle, heater, or lamp, or if you need it for your road trip to power your smartphone, tablet, laptop, or camera, or if you want a backup system for your house in case there is a blackout.
At the same time, power stations don’t necessarily come cheap. Some of the best power stations can cost you quite a pretty penny, but we have some good news for you. If you’re shopping for a power station and feel that some of them are a bit out of your budget, Bluetti has announced that for the Autumn Prime Day sales, they will be offering massive discounts across the board.
We’re talking about savings where you can get a power station and an extra battery pack and save up to $1,200, so if you don’t want to miss out on this deal, then check out some of Bluetti’s offerings below!
Modular Home Battery Systems
If you’re looking for a power station that can be used as a home backup system, the Bluetti AC300+B300 and AC500+B300S modular systems might be worth taking a look at. One of the things we like about this system is that it is modular, meaning that you can add or remove batteries as needed.
This is versus fixed systems that offer up a fixed battery size and once you’re out of juice, you’ll have to recharge, whereas these modular systems let you add extra battery packs in the event of an extended blackout or if you need the extra juice.
The main difference between the AC300 and AC500 is its power output, where they offer 3000W and 5000W of power respectively, so depending on your needs and how many devices you plan to connect to it, you’ll have options to choose from. Both systems also offer UPS, meaning that in the event of a power outage, it only takes 20 ms for the system to kick in and ensure that your connected devices don’t lose power, perfect for computers, servers, or even medical equipment.
The AC300+B300 system was priced at $3,299, but with this sale, it is now priced at $2,299, saving you $1,000 in the process. The AC500+B300S was $4,799 but is now priced at $3,599, giving you a savings of $1,200.
All-in-one Home Power Station
If you don’t really need a modular system but still want a power station that is capable of backing up your home, then the EP500 could be worth taking a look at. It packs a 5,120Wh LiFePO4 battery which has a longer lifespan compared to your more traditional lithium-ion batteries and it is also believed to be safer.
It offers a 2,000W pure sine wave AC inverter and also comes with UPS that kicks in within 20 seconds. There are also 15 outlets built into the power station, allowing you to connect all kinds of devices and appliances to it, including phones, tablets, laptops, and even more powerful devices like a refrigerator, saws, and lawnmowers.
The EP500 also comes with a set of wheels which means that it is semi-portable, where you can easily roll it from room to room depending on where the power is needed.
Portable Generators for Adventure
Now we get it, not everyone needs a hulking power station to back their homes up with. Sometimes you need something a little smaller and portable that can either fit in the boot of your car or inside your RV where you can easily take it with you on the road for hiking or camping trips or a road trip.
This is where the Bluetti AC60 comes in. Don’t let its size fool you. As small as it is, it is a very capable power station that has IP65 water and dust resistance, making it ideal for outdoor use. It is also semi-modular where you can expand its battery from 403Wh to 2,015Wh.
Speaking of batteries, it uses the same LiFePO4 battery as Bluetti’s other systems and is rated for over 3,000 cycles, which means that in theory you could charge it daily for almost a decade without too much loss in battery capacity. It also takes about an hour to fully recharge which means very little downtime in between uses.
There is also support for solar charging using Bluetti’s PV120 and PV200 solar panels, so even if you don’t have access to direct power, you have an alternative. The Bluetti AC60 is normally priced at $699, but as part of the Autumn Prime Day sale, it will receive a $100 discount which brings its price down to a more affordable $599.
All-around Power Stations
For those who can’t decide whether they want a home backup system or something that’s portable, then perhaps these all-rounders could be a happy middle. This includes the Bluetti AC200MAX and AC180.
Both devices are on sale where the AC200MAX has received a $200 discount, knocking it down from $1,599 to $1,399, while the AC180 has been discounted from $999 to $699, saving you $300 in the process.
Both the AC200MAX and AC180 are relatively compact systems, but still offer up pretty good power output if you need. The AC200MAX, for example, can deliver 2,200W of power from its 2,048Wh battery, but it can be further expanded by attaching the B230 or B300 battery packs.
The AC180 on the other hand will be a smaller and lighter alternative, with a 1,152Wh battery and 1,800W of continuous power. It will also support solar charging using Bluetti’s PV350 or PV420 solar panels, and with its Power Lifting mode, it can also be used to power resistive heating devices like electric kettles or even heat guns.
