The GravaStar Delta35 is the cutest smartphone charger we’ve ever seen

0

When we think of chargers, we think of these boring black, gray, or white bricks that are usually bundled with our electronic devices like our phones, tablets, laptops, and so on. If you care about the design aspects of all your devices, then you might want to take a look at GravaStar’s latest Delta35 GaN Fast Charger which has been designed to look like a mini robot!

Design

Right off the bat, you could be forgiven for thinking that the Delta35 is a collectible figurine, but in reality, it is a charger for your device. One of the things that the company paid attention to was the overall design of the charger. Not satisfied with the way chargers normally look, they embarked on creating something special and unique.

This has resulted in a mecha robot-inspired design that comes with adjustable arms and ears so that you can make slight tweaks and adjustments to the way it looks, creating something that is uniquely yours. The design changes don’t stop there as GravaStar has also included an ice-white color blinking effect to let you know the charging status while your devices are being charged.

The way GravaStar has approached the design of the Delta35 shouldn’t really be a surprise. The company has created other products like its Mars Pro, Supernova, and Venus Bluetooth speakers to resemble robots, giving us a twist on what we think portable Bluetooth speakers should look like. If anything, the design of the Delta35 is pretty much in line with the company’s design philosophy and approach to modern day gadgets.

Charging Speeds

Now obviously looks are one thing. What’s the point of having a charger that looks cool but is terrible at doing the one thing it’s supposed to do, right? With the Delta35, it offers users up to 35W of charging.

While 35W isn’t as fast compared to some of the other chargers we’ve seen out there, it should be more than enough to charge your mobile devices like phones and tablets at relatively faster speeds compared to some third-party chargers out there. In fact, at 35W, it is even faster than some of the chargers that come bundled with our phones and tablets, so it’s a pretty good alternative.

It offers dual USB-C outputs so if you’re not looking to charge many things at once, it could be perfect. Plus the fact that it is a GaN charger means that it is small and compact compared to regular chargers, making it ideal if you need to bring it around with you to charge your phone or tablet or even a laptop throughout the day.

It supports charging protocols such as QC2.0, QC3.0, QC3+, PD3.0, PPS, Apple 2.4, BC1.2, Samsung AFC, and Huawei FCP/LV SCP, so you should be pretty much covered unless you’re charging a device that might require more than 35W of power.

Safety

We’ve all heard the horror stories and warnings from companies against the use of third-party charging accessories, but that won’t be a problem with the Delta35.

One of the benefits of using GaN technology instead of regular silicon-based charging technology is safety. Because GaN chargers are better at managing heat, they have less chance of overheating and getting too hot and potentially damaging your device or catching on fire, or worse, exploding.

Of course, this doesn’t mean that GravaStar hasn’t built safety measures into the charger itself. There is protection against potential issues like overvoltage, overcurrent, short circuiting, and the charger getting too hot, so you can go ahead and charge your devices without having to worry about it.

The company has also designed the Delta35 to be made out of a flame-retardant shell, so even in the unlikely event of it catching on fire, the flame-retardant shell should offer up a greater degree of protection.

Pricing & availability

If you think that GravaStar’s Delta35 is the perfect charger in terms of features and looks, the company is selling it on their website for a very affordable price of $29.95. There will be two color options offered at the time of sale in a white or pink finish. For more details, you can head on over to GravaStar’s website or to place an order.
