Alongside Google and Samsung, one of the most consistent smartphone OEMs – in terms of updates, at least – is Nokia, which manages to provide regular software patches to many of its devices. With that in mind, several Nokia phones have recently been updated with new Android software versions, bringing some much-welcome security fixes and new features to the devices.
According to a report from the folks over at Nokiamob, several Nokia phones including the Nokia XR21, Nokia 8.3, Nokia G60, Nokia G11, Nokia 2.4 and Nokia G20 have received software patches. The specifics are listed below:
- Nokia XR 21, June Security patch (78 MB)
- Nokia 8.3 5G, June Security patch (53.06 MB)

If you own any of the phones listed above, it’s recommended that you check if your device is eligible for the newest system updates. You can easily do this by opening your Settings app, heading into System, and tapping on System Updates.
In recent Nokia news, the company announced a new addition to its budget phone lineup with the Nokia G42 5G, which is priced at around $250.
