By If you’re a fan of Pokemon, then you might be interested to learn that over in South Korea, Samsung has announced Pokemon editions of both its Galaxy Buds 2 and Buds 2 Pro earbuds.
What makes these special is that instead of the usual case that the earbuds are normally available in, they will now feature the design of three Pokemon – Ditto, Jigglypuff, and Snorlax. Apart from the change in the outer shell, the actual design of the earbuds themselves will remain the same.
This isn’t the first time Samsung has launched Pokemon themed accessories. Back in 2022, the company launched a special Pokeball case for the Galaxy Buds 2, and earlier this year, the company also launched some Pokemon themed accessories for their phones and smartwatches.
The earbuds are priced starting at KRW 129,000 for the Galaxy Buds 2, while the Galaxy Buds 2 Pro will go for KRW 199,000. Unfortunately, it appears to be exclusive to South Korea for now, so those living outside the country will either need to find a way to import it or hope that Samsung will eventually release it for their local markets, which honestly doesn’t really feel like it could happen but who knows, fingers crossed!
