The original Motorola Razr was the darling of the phone industry when it first debuted all those years ago. The sleek design combined with its super thin profile made the handset a must-have for many consumers.
The company later brought the Razr back as a foldable smartphone and if you’re still a fan of the Razr after all these years, you could be in luck. In a video shared by Motorola on Weibo, it appears that the company is getting close to launching its latest Razr foldable smartphone.
Lenovo, Motorola’s parent company, actually announced the handset last month which means that the device is real, but the teaser video suggests that its launch could be soon. At the moment not much is known about the handset, but rumors have suggested that Motorola could be looking to increase the external display’s size to make it more functional.
Other than that, it’s really anyone’s guess as to what kind of specs it could be packing. That being said, seeing as how it will be a flagship device, we expect that it will most likely be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset. We also expect that Motorola will be maintaining the 144Hz refresh rate for the display which was also found in its predecessor.
Either way, we’ll be keeping our eyes peeled for the official launch, so check back with us soon for more details.
