One of the rumors we’ve been hearing about the Samsung Galaxy S23 is that it will come with incredible zoom capabilities. Now it looks like Samsung may have confirmed those rumors in a short video that they have uploaded onto YouTube.
While the video doesn’t explicitly confirm anything, it shows the image of a moon that is then accompanied by three camera lenses, along with the caption that reads, “Epic nights are coming”. It should be noted that for Samsung’s previous smartphone releases, moon photography was one of the features, so this doesn’t really come as a surprise.
We’re not sure what kind of changes or improvements Samsung will be making, but maybe clearer photos could be one of them, or even further zoom. The caption also seems to suggest that maybe an improved night photography could be one of the phone’s features, but we’ll have to wait to find out.
In any case, improved zoom and/or night photography is something worth looking forward to, especially if you do take a lot of photos at night or love the tight crop that telephoto lenses bring to the table. Samsung will be officially revealing it all on the 1st of February, so check back with us in the coming weeks for the details.
